On September 27, 2008, Pryor was home to Oklahoma’s Largest Mud Pit (150 Feet Long!) and Pryor's first Mud Run, as well as a sanctioned 5K and a one mile Fun Run for the kids! This Event is designed to encourage young people to form early exercise habits and to show them that exercise is fun! The Mud Run is for those adventurous runners looking for a new challenge and not afraid to get down and dirty. And the 5K will give serious runners an opportunity to train and compete in a sanctioned 5K race!
So, be sure to save the date for 2009 (TBA) and come to Pryor where it’s
Proceeds jointly benefit the Physical Education Departments at the Pryor Elementary Schools and Thunderbird Youth Academy in Pryor.
