The Pryor Running Club is a place for all runners, whether you are at a beginner, intermediate or advanced level (levels described below). Even if you don’t know how to run and want to learn, come and join us!
Each group will have a leader who will facilitate workouts as we run to become happier and healthier. Runners will also be provided training programs to help them stay on track during the week when the running club is not meeting. So, come join us at the Pryor Creek Rec Center. We will begin the Running Club the first of June.
Levels:
Beginner: Those who have never run before and wish to begin or those who run occasionally and would like to create a more consistent routine. This group will help those who need to learn running technique to avoid injury. (You need to be able to briskly walk 30 minutes in order to safely start training.)
Intermediate: Those who have mastered running technique and are in a regular routine, but are in need of a challenge to get to the next level to reach their goals.
Advanced: Those who have exceeded the previous two levels and have been running a regular routine for a while. This group is made up of individuals who desire to reach further and fine tune their technique in order to obtain new levels for the races that they wish to run.
